How long does pledgeship last? 
Pledgeship at the University of Oklahoma lasts one semester.

 

Does BYX haze?
As a Christian organization on campus, it is vital to our testimony and purpose that we remain above reproach. Scripture says we should be “blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world” and we do our very best to remain aligned with God’s Word. As Christ is our model and example, we feel it is our duty to serve the pledges. A person who is thinking about joining should have no worries about being hazed while in this organization!

What council is BYX a part of?

Beta Upsilon Chi is a part of the Independent Greek Council at The University of Oklahoma. Even though we are not a part of the Interfraternity Council, we still participate in the campus wide events that IFC fraternities do. Also, we have mixers, date parties, philanthropies, and tailgates like other fraternities.

 

How much does BYX cost?

Brothers Under Christ has one of the cheapest dues amongst all fraternities. During the pledgeship semester, dues can cost around $500-$600. However, once you become an initiated member, dues fall to $300-$400. We also offer need-based scholarships to our members.
