WHO WE ARE
Beta Upsilon Chi (Brothers Under Christ or BYX) is the largest national Christian fraternity in the United States.
Our Purpose:
We exist for the purpose of establishing brotherhood and unity among college men based on the common bond of Jesus Christ.
Brothers
We are brothers and always seek to strengthen our relationships with one another. Throughout your years in college, you will make meaningful relationships and always have somebody to lean on. Even after college ends, this trait transcends throughout our lives.
Christians
To our core, we are Christians. We were founded to grow in our union with each other and our union with Christ. Small groups of men gather weekly to edify each other through Bible study, worship, accountability, prayer, and fellowship.
A Fraternity
Our members lead and participate in a wide variety of activities across the University community. Our chapter encourages and enables our members to develop leadership skills, to the benefit of our campus. These activities include student government, honor societies, spirit teams, consulting groups, service organizations, multicultural and diversity organizations, and more.

Good Citizens
BYX is unashamedly Greek. We participate in all aspects of Greek life alongside our friends representing other fraternities and sororities. This includes date parties, philanthropy events, social events, tailgates, and campus wide events. We completely embody yet constantly push the boundaries of what it means to be Greek by being one of the most accessible and diverse fraternities on campus.
Competitors
We are citizens of campus, Norman, Oklahoma, the United States, and the world community. Our members contribute their time here at home and around the world through philanthropy events, community service opportunities, mission trips, and medical volunteerism. Many also serve as first-year mentors to freshmen students at the University.
Our chapter has a tradition redefining excellence for our national chapter and Greek life at OU. Whether it's our website, dance routine, homecoming float, or intramural team, we never settle for second place. We are honored to be fortunate enough to have won both campus and national awards.
